Among the many plans she must decide on, she must also pick wedding favors for those who have helped her in planning the wedding and for those who helped carry out all these details and dreams that she could not do on her own.
Choosing the best favors for people can be tricky. A traditional favor for wedding guests is a bag of rice or birdseed to be thrown on the newlyweds as they leave the reception, but times have changed. It's not uncommon to blow bubbles these days! For more intimate gifts, brides often choose a nice piece of jewelry for their bridesmaids to help accent their bridesmaids' dresses, but will also be something they can wear for many years to come. Favors for flower girls and ring bearers can be anything from personalized candy to toys to accessories for the wedding. Favors for the bride's mother and mother-in-law-to-be are often jewelry to accent their dress for that special day.
When it comes to a more personal level, all brides want to look their best. Choosing the best wedding dress is extremely important, as the dress must look awesome and feel good, too. Not only is choosing the dress important, but so is choosing comfortable bridal shoes! Too often shoes are purchased for how they look with the dress, but not so much on how they feel. This is one area that should be considered as the bride will be wearing these shoes for many hours and will be on her feet almost the entire time. With many brides being of the younger and less formal generation, many are choosing to buy a pair of bridal flip-flips to change into after the ceremony and photography shoots are over. No matter what your plans are, be sure to relax and enjoy the day. And, by all means, don't forget to take a comfortable pair of wedding shoes!
