MACON, GA January 17, 2006 - Some people donate time, some donate
money, but not Dr. K.D. Jackson, Sr. of Twiggs County, Georgia. Dr.
Jackson took his desire to make a real difference this year to the
next level, and turned it into something practical that his local
medical officials desperately needed - ambulances!
Being a concerned citizen, Dr. Jackson became aware of the medical
transportation needs in his community. He decided to take his
concerns a step further and make a New Year's Resolution for 2006 that
he would pay for and donate three refurbished ambulances to his city
and county. The ambulances were presented on January 3, 2006, one
ambulance going to the City of Jeffersonville, Georgia and two
ambulances to the County of Twiggs. The ambulances are refurbished
Ford E350s, 7.3 turbo diesel. These three ambulances will better
equip medical officials to reach people who are in emergency or death
situations more quickly. Timing is critical, and having more
ambulances on hand gives increased mobility to medical responders. Dr.
Jackson has requested that the ambulances be officially accepted by
February 10, 2006.
Donating ambulances is not the only way Dr. Jackson is making a
difference in his community and abroad. As Apostle and International
CEO and Ambassador of the combined entities of the Sovereign Church of
ELOHIYM, International, Washitaw Indigenous & Immigrant Nation, and
1BLOOD, International (NGO), Dr. Jackson spends much of his time in
Africa and Europe overseeing authorized National Development Programs.
His most recent development project is in Sierra Leone, currently one
of the poorest countries in the world. The purpose of the project is
to produce and store enough food to help the country's president
realize his dream, as stated, "No Sierra Leonean going to be hungry by
the end of 2007!" With Dr. Jackson's development program already in
operation in over 400 communities with over 5,500 active trainee-
beneficiaries, the president just might see his dream become a
reality.
With these two projects alone, Dr. Jackson, and the entities he
represents, define what it means to make a "real difference" in the
world. He expresses sincere appreciation for the contributions of all
three entities in which he serves as International Ambassador.
Turning his New Year's Resolution into action benefited the community.
Turning his dreams into International projects is now benefiting the
world.
