US SENATORS RECEIVE "ONE NATION" WRISTBANDS ON THE SECOND ANNIVERSARY
OF THE IRAQ WAR TO SHOW THEIR SUPPORT FOR TROOPS AND THEIR FAMILIES

CAMARILLO, CA - April 9, 2005 - Operation Homefront, in association
with US Soldier.org (http://www.ussoldier.org), has started a campaign
to provide "One Nation" wristbands to all the members of the U.S.
Senate. In a letter to the Senators, Nation One Group urged them to
keep the soldiers and their remarkable sacrifices in mind and to wear
the One Nation wristbands as a symbol of support of our troops and
continual awareness of their hardships.
One Nation wristbands are distributed by http://www.ussoldier.org on
behalf of Operation Homefront (http://operationhomefront.net), a
nation wide charitable organization created to offer volunteer support
to help military families while their loved ones are overseas. Having
a family member serving our country can make everyday costs more than
a mere nuisance - they become unbearable burdens. Operation Homefront
provides assistance with various emergency and day-to-day costs. These
can be as crucial car repair, home and appliance repair, food
distribution and childcare. Many troops leave behind young families
for whom the daily tasks of everyday life can become overwhelming
hardships.
After becoming aware of this problem, Nation One Group has promised to
raise over a million dollars to help the families left behind cope
with everyday problems. The campaign has netted tens of thousands of
dollars since it started four months ago and they are optimistic about
reaching the one million dollar goal within the year.
