BELLINGHAM, WA - December 21, 2004 - Legend Designs LLC is the leading

musical light organs, for the world's most exclusive homes, super
yachts, and custom buses.
One of the largest, most complex, accurate, and exotic custom star
ceilings ever built is now available, already completed, as the
original buyer went million over budget on this new home.
This patented (38 different processes), acrylic, scale star ceiling of
the Northern Hemisphere is nineteen feet in diameter (including frame)
with all the stars (each star is comprised of two to twenty-five
cables to facilitate atmospheric twinkling with our special light
sources), in correct size, color, and magnitude. Over two hundred
kilometers of different size fiber optic cables were used in the
construction of the star field, light organ, and frame.
Separate light points can be illuminated to connect the stars in the
constellations or illuminate the complete constellation
symbol outline. In addition to the stars, there is also a display of
the Milky Way with thousands of small points of light plus hundreds of
accurate special galaxies and nebula.
All the star ceiling functions may be turned off and then over thirty-
eight thousand separate additional fiber optic cables can be turned on
- each exactly 2 cm (3/4 in.) apart which compose a "musical light
organ" with 16 million possible colors that automatically change to
voice, music, or you may choose from ten other programs. Also
included is a custom "star gate" type frame inset with fiber optic
stars (in silver bases) of all the stars in the major constellations,
or any custom frame you would like could be added to match your own
decor.
