BUCKEYE, AZ June 7, 2005 - Dr. Beverly A. Browning, a national grant

released her newest book for churches and ministries titled, "Faith-Based
Grants: Aligning Your Church to Receive Abundance". Browning is mostly
known for her bestselling book, "Grant Writing For Dummies" (Wiley, 2001
and 2005). In her new book, she guides churches and other ministry
groups how to position themselves to receive what remains of the
Federal faith-based grantmaking initiative — in other words, "how to get
a piece of the pie before the pie is gone."
In 168 pages of detailed information, Browning guides readers on how
to: conduct an organizational needs assessment, create a strategic
funding plan, file for a separate IRS nonprofit status (application
form and guidelines are appended), create community partnerships, and
more. In Chapter Eight, titled "Writing Right", she shares her
expertise in the field. In all, this ten chapter workbook is a great
