Sunrise, FL - August 16, 2006 - Lord Daniel Sportswear, the third
generation, family-owned golf and men's apparel powerhouse, today
announced the consolidation of eight plus labels into three
distinct apparel brands: Astra, Fairway Golf & Resort and Cotton
Traders.
"After the acquisition of over eight different labels in the past
50 years of being in the sportswear and golf industry, we feel it
best to present three defined brands to consumers, to enable us to
better focus on quality standards and make an overall easier
purchasing decision for our buyers,/' says company CEO Brett
Stern.
Lord Daniel will continue to brand ASTRA, a high end line of
women's golf wear including shorts, skorts, UV protected tops
and sweaters ranging from to . Fairway Outfitters will now
become Fairway Golf & Resort and will be revamped to include more
updated design and the introduction of more tech fabrics. The new
Fairway Golf & Resort line will range from to retail with
offerings for both men and women. Labels Palmland, Le Moda and
Cellini will be renamed Cotton Traders, and will offer moderate
priced sportswear for men and women ranging from to .
"Labeling and design changes are already underway," says
President, Ron LoSchiavo. "We hope to put into effect all
branding changes by Spring 2007."

for Lord Daniel Sportswear to take. For the past 52 years we
