LAKEVILLE, MA - February 10, 2005 - Tedy Bruschi one of the most
popular players of the New England Patriots and David Ortiz "PAPI" of
the World Champion Boston Red Sox have a few things in common. First,
they are both tops among fans throughout New England. Second, they
are both world champions. The fans have spoken and to support the
ever-growing "City of Champions", Tedy Bruschi and David Ortiz have
teamed up with Encore Select, Inc. to introduce unique T-shirt
HOMELAND CHAMPIONS. "This is a unique time in sports and an exciting
time for any sports fan whether football or baseball or just a fan of
New England," comments Richard Moore, President of Encore Select, Inc.
It doesn't get much better than now. New England has won their third
Championship and the Red Sox are the current World Champions. Two
Champions in one marketplace!
The new Official Homeland Champions T-shirt will feature Tedy Bruschi
and David Ortiz and will be identified in the marketplace with the
official player logos and official signature. Merchandise will be
available in t-shirts, long sleeve shirts, sweats, caps, polo, jackets
with be available in both adult and youth sizes. Apparel colors will
be available in grey, white and pink
"We are pleased and excited to be creating the Homeland Champions T-
shirt and dealing with two great people and athletes within the
community," says Moore. "New Englanders have a unique history making
event with having two great sports teams and the Homeland Champions
will capture the fan passion of New England. Fans should be aware
Encore Select has created the only products coming on the market in
which Tedy Bruschi and David Ortiz directly approves and supports. We
have taken much care in working with both athletes to develop
merchandise that reflects the image to their fans. All items will be
marked with the players logo, number, name and signature."
A portion of the proceeds from the Homeland Champions merchandise will
be donated to ad the Boys and Girls Club.
