With Valentine's Day coming February 14th, the nation will start
focusing again on what makes a vibrant and lasting relationship. But
few experts will be in a position to address these issues from the
men's point of view. Enter Neil Chethik, the author of a new book
from Simon & Schuster, "VoiceMale: What Husbands Really Think About
Their Marriages, Their Wives, Sex, Housework and Commitment" (2006).
A nationally-known speaker on family life, Chethik blends the latest
research with his cutting-edge interpretations making him a lively,
engaging interview subject.
Some of the findings from Neil's national, scientific survey of 350 men:
1) Men who do housework have more sex with their wives
(and happier marriages overall)
2) Men are not commitment-phobic (just more cautious than women)
3) Men will talk about relationships
(if you speak to them in their language)
4) Men will change (if they're encouraged in the right way)
5) Men are not obsessed with sex
(just more interested than most women are)
Some surprisingly good news: According to Neil's survey for VoiceMale,
more than 90 percent of husbands would marry the same woman if given
the chance to start over again.
