HOUSTON, TX - May 22, 2008 - A new book that offers hope and
inspiration to anyone that has experienced major struggles in life
provides a valuable resource for leaders of Christian groups, sports
team leaders, drug recovery workers, and anyone who works with teens.
major life obstacles a young boy must overcome as he grows into a man.
Based on a true story, "Escaping Obstacles" focuses on young boy with
a dysfunctional childhood. The boy faces tremendous adversity growing
up in a family where poor choices plague his home life. As the story
unfolds, readers are amazed at how one person can endure so much pain
and grief in his life and still be an over-comer. As the book's main
character makes the transition from boy to man, he determines that he
will better himself and triumph over life's hardships.
The book's author, Bart Hardwell, grew up in a dysfunctional family
and often used his imagination as an escape. As he grew older, writing
became an outlet to help escape his obstacles. He wants "Escaping
Obstacles" to inspire both the young and old to overcome difficulties
despite the cards they may have been dealt in life.
Hardwell states, "The book engulfs readers in a life of perseverance
despite the odds and brings them to a realization that they too can be
an over-comer."
Hardwell feels the book is an excellent resource for those who work
with young people and for Christian leaders. The book can be a great
starting point for leaders to inspire those they are trying to help.
It also helps readers realize they are not the only ones with family
issues.
