JULY 21, 2011 - NEW YORK, NY - A simple e-book download means that online users can learn to do just about anything. From decorating cakes to training a dog to fly fishing, e-books intrigue users because they are so affordable and easy to access. A Web entrepreneur, Belinda Lloyd, announces her e-book how-to website (MyHowToEbook.com) that compiles a variety of downloadable books and other learning resources.
Lloyd founded the website in December 2010 and was inspired to do so by her six-year-old son and nine-year-old daughter. As a mother, she's heard all the usual questions. "Mommy, how do I...?" She felt convinced that other parents must be getting the same questions, even if their kids are grown and have moved out of the house.
"As parents we try to know 'everything' or at least pretend that we do. By reading how-to e-books, we gain knowledge and become much better at the 'pretend to know everything' job!" states Lloyd.
Lloyd doesn't have to guess at where her kids' desire for learning originated. She herself has a hunger for knowledge, which shows through her passionate pursuit of education. Lloyd has a B.Comm degree, a Masters degree in Law, and a Forensic Science Diploma. So she's no stranger to the "curiosity to learn" that lies within us all.
Lloyd's website features numerous e-books on just about every subject imaginable.
