services, today announced that it has been successfully granted a new
patent for its technology in Australia. This latest award serves to
further strengthen RPost's intellectual property protection and
solidify the company's position as the global pioneer in e-mail proof
services.
With the patent grant in Australia (number 2003224616), RPost now has
19 patents granted worldwide, with the earliest priority date of 1999.
These patents broadly cover the technologies of (a) verifiable proof
for e-mail, (b) protocol-level delivery confirmation, and (c) value-
added outbound e-mail filtering. Patents have been issued in
Australia, Austria, Belgium, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland,
Italy, Korea, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain,
Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and the United States; with
numerous additional patents pending in these and additional countries.
Further, strategic trademarks federally registered by the United
States Patent and Trademark office include Registered E-mail(R), Legal
Proof(R), R-Mail(R), and R-Post(R), among others.
