SCRANTON, PA - January 16, 2008 - HaroldSays, the only truly positive
consumer advocacy service in the world, is promoting The Be Positive
Do Something Positive Day, March 1, 2008. The Be Positive Do Something
Positive Day is a day to be celebrated by all people, all over the
world; a day for each and every one of us to first "Be" positive and
then to "DO" something positive for another person, non-profit
organization, or charitable cause to make our world a safer, better
and more positive place in which to live.
Harold Cameron, The Chief of Helping People for HaroldSays, said that
his life´s mission and passion is encouraging positive thought and
action everywhere and to everyone in the world. One way that he is
doing that is by promoting The Be Positive Do Something Positive Day
on March 1, 2008. Harold states statistics indicate that consumer´s
feelings of safety and confidence in the US are at an all-time low.
Crime rates overall are the highest they have ever been in the history
of our nation, according to a report released by the Department of
Justice. Teen suicide is the third leading cause of death for young
people between the ages of 15 and 24 in the US. Fifty seven million
Americans suffer from some form of mental illness. And, the majority
of people no longer feel safe in their own homes, work places, or
schools due to an increase in violent activities at these locations
across our country. Harold´s answer is The Be Positive Do Something
Positive Day and his Be Positive Do Something Positive Initiative.
To properly celebrate The Be Positive Day it´s important that each of
us first start with ourselves by "BEING" positive and then by "DOING"
something positive for ourselves - ideally when we start our day. Next,
for The Be Positive Day to truly be a success, we must then "BE"
positive and "DO" something positive in our homes for our families.
Our positive act does not need to be huge or monumental, but rather,
it can be something seemingly small such as cooking dinner for our
family and then sitting down and enjoying it together as a family.
Finally, for The Be Positive Do Something Positive Day to be a
positively world-changing success, we ALL need to "BE" positive and
then "DO" something positive for another person, non-profit
organization, or charitable cause. If we are a student, we could do
something positive for a fellow student. If we are an employee of a
company or organization, we might do something positive for one of our
co-workers. We could also do something positive for an organization
such as The American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, Stand Up For
Kids, a local humane society, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, A United Way
affiliated organization or agency in our area, or some other non-
profit organization or charitable cause we believe in and want to
help.
